At age 14 I was diagnosed with turf toe after a bad tackle in a football game. A year later the pain got so bad that it was limiting my ability to contribute to my team. I went to Dr. Deland and Dr. Drakos, and they decided to operate. 6 months later I was the starting running back and middle linebacker for my team and we had one of the best seasons in school history. Thank you to Dr. Deland, Dr. Drakos, my PT Will and the rest of the HSS team.
